Traditional air purifiers used in factories often fall short in terms of size and customization options. Recognizing this gap, designer Guangpeng Yue developed the Desulfurization Module to meet the individual needs of each factory while maintaining a suitable size. By adopting a product and modular approach to the desulfurization process, this groundbreaking design improves efficiency, reduces production costs, and minimizes environmental impact.
One of the key strengths of the Desulfurization Module lies in its ability to prevent sulfide emissions from polluting the environment. Unlike traditional engineering methods of desulfurization, this product offers a streamlined and modular solution. By combining intelligent technology with efficient resource utilization, the Desulfurization Module saves electricity and optimizes the desulfurization process.
The Desulfurization Module utilizes a wet desulfurization process, condensation demister, partial replacement, and ultra-low emissions to achieve environmental protection productization. The entire product is constructed using 316L stainless steel and features three groups of glass access doors, ensuring durability and ease of maintenance.
With a cube-shaped design measuring 3 meters in height and 1.3 meters in width, the Desulfurization Module offers easy installation and the potential for product function expansion. By using different modular units, a set of multi-functional purification products can be created, further enhancing the versatility and adaptability of this innovative solution.
The Desulfurization Module is a result of extensive research and development conducted by a dedicated team. Led by Guangpeng Yue, the team includes Ling Jin, Hang Yin, Fengze Li, Jiaqi Cui, Yingyi Li, Xin Wang, Kai Su, and Guoqing Tang. Their collective efforts have overcome various challenges, including the complexity and large footprint of traditional desulfurization tower projects.
Since its completion in October 2021 at Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang, Liaoning, China, the Desulfurization Module has garnered recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Products category in 2022. This prestigious accolade acknowledges the product's ingenious design, incorporation of best practices in art, science, design, and technology, and contribution to improving the quality of life.
